We're hiring

Work at
MotionLab.

We're a small team building the mobility training platform we always wanted as athletes. If you care about movement, product craft, and doing meaningful work alongside people who take both seriously — read on.

Why MotionLab

Remote-first

We operate fully remote. Work from wherever you do your best thinking — your home, a co-working space, or anywhere with a good internet connection.

Mission-driven

We're building something that genuinely helps people move and feel better. Every line of code, every design decision, and every piece of content maps back to that mission.

Small team, big impact

At this stage, every person on the team has a real and visible effect on the product. There's no long chain of approvals between a good idea and a shipped feature.

Athlete culture

Most of us train. We understand the problems we're solving from the inside, and we bring that perspective to everything we build.

Open positions

Current openings on the team.

No open roles right now

We don't have any open positions at this moment, but we're always interested in hearing from exceptional people. If you're extraordinary at what you do and you believe in what we're building, we'd love to know you exist.

What we look for

Roles come and go, but these qualities define the kind of people we want to build with regardless of the position.

  • Genuine passion for movement, sport, or physical performance — you don't have to be a professional athlete, but you care.
  • Product thinking — you consider the full user experience, not just your slice of it.
  • High ownership — you take problems all the way to resolution rather than handing them off at the first opportunity.
  • Clear communication — remote-first teams live and die by written clarity.
  • Comfort with ambiguity — early-stage products require judgment when the playbook doesn't exist yet.
  • Curiosity about the science — you want to understand why mobility matters, not just what the specs say.

Our culture

We take the work seriously without taking ourselves too seriously. The team is tight-knit, direct, and genuinely excited about what we're building. We move fast, but not at the expense of quality or each other.

Async by default

We respect deep work. Most communication happens in writing, on your schedule.

Honest feedback

We give direct, constructive feedback because we're here to build something great together — not to protect egos.

Ship and learn

We prefer getting real things in front of real users over endless internal debate. We iterate fast and acknowledge mistakes openly.

Reach out

No open roles? That's fine. If you're exceptional, tell us what you do and how you think. The right conversations have a way of turning into the right opportunities.
